About Me

jo dodddsWith a background in HR and Digital and Social Media, I now work with business leaders to improve employee engagement in their organisations. Alongside this I work with individuals to improve their personal productivity and wellbeing through my brand POWER to Live More.

I speak, train, consult, coach and facilitate depending on the need.

My key strengths are around communication, individualisation and collecting and translating knowledge into learning for others by way of storytelling and coaching. Aside from my consulting and speaking work, this works really well when I have the opportunity to chair a conference!

My favourite projects are where an organisation knows that they have a need to improve their employee engagement but aren’t really sure they know how to go about doing that. Often the individuals involved do have the knowledge and skills to achieve these goals and my role is to draw that out and facilitate the work moving forwards through building confidence and empowering the team to take the actions needed.

Alongside my consulting, speaking and training around employee engagement, I work as part of the core team of Engage for Success (now part of the CIPD), the national movement spreading the word about employee engagement and shining a light on good practise.

I live in Hythe in Kent, UK – on a good day I can see France from my office window! I’m married to Simon and we have Little Doddsy, born in 2006 (to save me having to remember to update her age!), so not so little now!
